Pump House Concerts: Danika Holmes
FRIDAY July 21st
Don’t let the optimistic take on life in Danika Holmes' music fool you into thinking she’s never endured hardship. She has... and plenty of it. She just chose to focus the message of her music on overcoming challenges and getting through life’s hardest moments in one piece. Danika believes music has the ability to heal. You may have heard Danika on Sirius XM’s Coffee House or on one of 150 radio stations around the US.
The Pump House is a neighborhood-run listening room located in the heart of the Bailey Neighborhood in East Lansing (368 Orchard St.). It is a converted water-pumping house built by the WPA in the 1930’s. This intimate atmosphere provides a comfortable and involving listening environment; it’s a very special way to listen to music.
We only sell tickets at the door. Suggested donation is almost always $15 (occasionally $20). All money goes to the musicians. We only do one show a month, almost always on Sunday evenings.
