We’ve heard loud and clear from our readers that you want ELi to continue to be a reliable, nonpartisan source of information about local elections and local political campaigns. If you’ve been with us for the last two election cycles, you know we’ve been doing regular reporting for you on issues like the parking lot sale ballot question, the marijuana charter amendment, and the land sale charter amendment, as well as on political campaigns (who is behind them, who finances them, candidate positions, etc.).

But our Managing Editor Ann Nichols and I have decided we need a more organized feature on ELi’s website to make sure this information is super easy for East Lansing voters to find. So with that goal, and with the help of our genius techies, we’ve created a new permanent “Election Information” feature at our site that you’ll see has gone live today at the top of the right-side column. That section offers you three links:

Clicking on those links will take you to portals leading you to the most current information available. With each election cycle, we can and will update these pages, so that we’re always bringing you the most recent, relevant information in terms of elections and campaigns.

Want ELi to keep bringing this service? Then please donate to help us. Your donation is tax deductible and will help bring important, nonpartisan information to all voters in East Lansing.
