EL City Clerk's Office open special hours for Absentee Ballots for Michigan Presidential Primary

Saturday, March 5, 2016 - 9:00am to 2:00pm

Saturday, March 5 (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.): EL City Clerk's office open for issuing and receiving absent voter ballots for the Michigan Presidential Primary to be held on March 8, 2016. 

Registered voters unable to vote in person at their polling location on Election Day may cast an Absentee Ballot.

For the March 8, 2016 Presidential Primary Election, a registered voter may request an Absentee Ballot by mail by completing an Absentee Voter Ballot Application (PDF) or by appearing in person at the City Clerk’s office.

The last day to have an an absentee ballot mailed to you is Saturday, March 5 and the last day a voter can apply for an absentee ballot and have it issued in person is Monday, March 7 by 4 p.m. All absentee ballots must be returned to the City Clerk's office, not the voting precincts, by 8 p.m. on Election Day March 8.
