(via Chris Root)... "On Wednesday, Oct 22 at 7:00 at the Court Room in City Hall, the Planning Commission is holding a second public hearing on the DTN’s three buildings proposed for the Park District – the proposal linked to the ballot question because it is on land that includes two City-owned parking lots on Abbot Road (as well as four Downtown Development Authority parcels on Evergreen Ave. that are not on the ballot).  This new hearing is being held because DTN’s proposals for two of the three buildings have changed substantially. Also, it is now clear that the 7-level parking ramp on Evergreen is to be owned, and presumably financed, by the City. The Planning Commission may also take action on the site plan for the 10-story building from Abbot and Grand River to People’s Church proposed by the Park District Investment Group (PDIG) LLC, owned by City Center II, LLC.
