Description: To promote safe bicycling and raise awareness, the Tri-County
Bicycle Association invites cyclists to join the annual Greater Lansing Ride
of Silence, a silent procession to honor those who have been killed or
injured while cycling on public roadways.  The event is free; sign-in between
5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at the Wells Hall Plaza (between Wells Hall and the
International Center) on the MSU campus. The ride will start promptly at 6:30
p.m., and will be a slow ride, conducted in solemn and reflective silence,
with a police escort provided all the way to the State Capitol in downtown
Lansing and back to campus. Open to all ages and riding skill levels.
Helmets are required. There will be an optional after-event gathering at the
Lansing Brewing Co.
