MSU Museum's annual MSU Federal Credit Union Dinosaur Dash is set for Sunday, Oct. 7. The fast, flat 5K race is a fall-time favorite and a long-time benefit for the Michigan State University Museum educational programs. Meanwhile, a full line-up of activities makes for Earth-shaking fun for the entire family.
Dashers compete in several different divisions and dinosaur trophies are awarded to overall male and female winners in both the running and walking categories. The 5K run/walk starts at 10 a.m. near the MSU Museum, 409 W. Circle Drive.
The East Lansing Farmers Market (ELFM), a growers-only market, is located in an inviting, open-air park atmosphere, just steps away from the MSU campus and downtown East Lansing. Customers can fill their shopping bags with a diverse selection of fresh, farm-grown Michigan produce and products, including vegetables, fruit, artisan bread, cheese, meat, coffee, maple syrup, honey, flowers and more.
