In an effort to support local authors and give inspiration to aspiring authors, the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL) will be hosting a Local Authors Panel on Wednesday, May 23 from 6:30-8 p.m.
The panel will feature a number of local authors that represent a variety of different genres of writing who will speak about how they got started and their experiences as writers. There will also be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions about their writing process and how they came to be published authors.
A public hearing has been set for the possible adoption of the City of East Lansing’s new Master Plan – a broad-based policy document for the physical, economic and social development of a city as it relates to land use.
The public hearing will take place at the East Lansing Planning Commission’s meeting on Wednesday, May 23 at 7 p.m. in Courtroom 2 of the East Lansing 54B District Court. At this meeting, community members can share feedback and the Planning Commission will consider adoption of the plan.
