Liberty Hyde Bailey Center Ribbon Cutting & Fundraiser to Take Place Nov. 2
The Capital Area Housing Partnership (CAHP) is ready to show off the Liberty Hyde Bailey Center! Community members are inviting to a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Nov. 2 from 10-11 a.m. There will also be a “Welcome Home” event on that date from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The evening event will feature appetizers, drinks, live music, a silent auction and tours of the building renovation progress. All proceeds will support housing opportunities and financial security in Greater Lansing.
The ELPS Board of Education announced the dates for the ongoing meetings of the Bond Work Group. The Bond Work Group is a group of residents, parents, educators and professionals, this committee advises the administration on the way to spend the $93.7 million ELPS elementary school construction bond passed last spring.
