EAST LANSING, Mich. — The City of East Lansing’s National Night Out, Touch-a-Truck event will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 6-8 p.m. at the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), 950 Abbot Road.

EL Kiwanis Community Band Family Pops Concert: Edgewood Village Park

"The East Lansing Kiwanis Community Band, one of the oldest community bands in the area, will perform a series of concerts this summer. This band brings together musicians from a number of community bands for a summer of family concerts. Musicians of all ages who can perform at a high school level are welcome to participate.  Conducting will be Dave Larzelere, East Lansing, and Matt Zerman, Grand Ledge."  From Lansing State Journal 6/28/15.

East Lansing City Council Meeting
Meets on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month (unless noted otherwise) at 7pm
Court Room 2, 54B District Court, 101 Linden St.

The City Council is the legislative and policy-making body for the City government. Five Councilmembers are elected at-large for overlapping four-year terms. The Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem are appointed by the elected Council. The Council also appoints the City Manager, who is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the City government. They also appoint the City Attorney.
