On Saturday, March 28, 2015, MSU will again invite hundreds of high school students, teachers, administrators, and parents to campus to explore a world of languages during the eighth celebration of World Languages Day. Free to all participants, this day-long conference will focus on the experiences that languages offer, and highlight the opportunities available for language and international study at MSU.
The Downtown East Lansing Chili Cook-Off event on Saturday, March 28, 2015 will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Restaurants within the district will provide free samples of chili to patrons of the downtown. A restaurant will select to serve the chili to participants in one of two ways. It will either serve the chili inside of its individual business location, or, outside on a banquet table in front of the business. The Downtown Management Board will provide banquet tables to all participating businesses.
"The East Lansing High School (ELHS) Theater Department will bring "The Wiz" to the stage this March. Shows will take place Friday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, March 22 at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, March 25 at 7 p.m.; Friday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, March 29 at 2 p.m. Shows will take place at the ELHS Center for Performing Arts, 509 Burcham Drive.

"The IRONDOG Fund was created to support the medical and surgical care of animals hospitalized at the MSU Veterinary Medical Center. The IRONDOG 5K is our largest annual fundraiser. This will be our 5th annual event. Join us for a flat, fast, fun, and unique 5K course through the campus of MSU. 500-700 runners and walkers are expected! Dogs are welcome with walkers."
