ELPL August Exhibit in the Brick Wall Gallery
In August the Friends of the East Lansing Public Library are showcasing local artist Rebecca Morgan and her exhibit, The Wall of Voodoo. In Rebecca's own words:
"The pieces are derived from a variety of influences, mainly Mexican and Spanish. However, one painting is dedicated specifically to my Polish ex-husband. Most of my paintings take 3 to 5 years to complete. Three are composed in part of recycled materials ranging from the mundane-like cigarette cartons and recycled paper. I paint mainly in acrylic with some enamel thrown in as accent colors."
Open reception celebrating Rebecca's work on Tuesday, August 15th at the library, from 6-8 pm. Refreshments will be served.
If you are interested in purchasing any pieces you can contact Rebecca via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
